Natural Remedies For Relieving Back Pain

If you’re on a budget but are still looking for some effective ways to to relieve lower back pain today, here are a couple resources that can be of benefit to you:

  1. Yoga – one study of over 960 people with low back pain found that those who completed a 12 week yoga program experienced greater improvements in back function and reduced pain compared to controls who did not participate. The alternative to yoga is mindfulness meditation. Research from Duke University found that those who were suffering from chronic back pain saw significant reductions in pain and psychological distress after practicing a form of meditation.

An excellent resource for meditation that I use on a regular basis is called “priming morning meditation” which can be found here. ┬áDo not overlook meditation as this particular form of practice has allowed me to focus more throughout the day, relieve┬ásciatica back pain that I used to have and if I must say felt almost unbearable to handle when driving in a car.

2. Osteopathic manual therapy.

A oseopath is a a chiropractor that moves your back muscles using hand-on techniques. When looking for a chiropractor make sure to find a chiropractor that is well-established, is highly rated on BBB and Google Map listing. Lastly, call a few friends to see if they can recommend a highly rated chiropractor in your area as I know several people who swear by using Chiropractic to get back to performing daily activities with little stress.

3. Proper nutrition & natural supplementation – Getting sufficient and high-quality omega 3 fats are essential. The reason I mention this is because omega 3 fats are precursors to meditators of inflammation called prostaglandins. A highly recommended omega-3 with the highest quality grade is krill oil. Unlike regular fish oil, krill oil provides less environmental chemicals and toxins.

Eliminate all grains and sugars – those who have excessive intake of grains and sugars will elevate their insulin and leptin levels causing the body to increase in inflammatory prostaglandin production.

I hope you found these 3 natural remedies helpful and if you have any questions, make sure to leave a comment below and we’ll make sure to respond as soon as possible.
